Wolverine

An Ancient’s modified planetoid, Wolverine houses homes for all the players as well as the Merc’s, plus a collection of vehicles often used in the campaign. The Compound, the Eagles Nest and the “Stable” (Studd’s House) are all on the shore of a lake that the gang created in the first year of their occupation. They are described below :

  • The Compound [ C ]
A large, muliti roomed house with a well stocked kitchen, several bedrooms with bathrooms connected, and a lavish “family room” where often members gather to relax. There is a well tended lawn around the house, plus a ruined shuttle (that serves as a storage shed.) and a couple of Air Rafts parked outside as well.
  • The Merc Base
A standard professional military setup consisting of a single large structure with a Commander’s Bunk, 4 Officer’s Bunk’s and 5 Enlisted Bunk’s where the enlisted sleep. Also included is a spacious Company Fresher and a Galley, plus a large G-Carrier is parked outside, unloaded from the Dagger.
  • The Varger Kennel
A standard professional setup consisting of a single large structure with a Communal Fresher and a Galley, plus a seperate Storage Unit for their construction gear.
  • The Grid
A no-frills, frontier style grav grid for aiding in the launching and/or landing of various crafts. Some of them stay in orbit, wheras the BA stays on the ground until needed. Capable of guiding and manuvering up tp 1000 ton ships with little to no concern.
  • The Eagles Nest [ E ]
A expansive, multi level family home built inside a small mountain, with parking outside established for an Air Raft. There are 2-3 large bedrooms with bathrooms inside, and notable entertainment facilities in a family room/lounge as well.
  • The Horses Stable [ S ]
The other location for the second owner/boss of the company is often refered to, jokingly, as the Horses Stable. Studd is a fun loving hunter, fisherman and ‘man of the Earth’ who’s mighty house was designed by Studd with his mustering out pay.
  • The Bullpen [ B ]
The other location for the second owner/boss of the company is a design lifted from the houses of Sword World nobility. Slaughter is a quiet, no-nonsense man with stern military ties plus a touch of the psychic gift.
